Microchipping

Micro-chipping gives you the best chance of being reunited with your pet if they go missing.  The microchip is the size of a grain of rice with a unique 15 digit identity code.  It is quickly and easily implanted into the scruff of your pet's neck.  The microchip is registered onto a Pet Database where your records can be accessed and your pet traced back to you.  Our microchips also accurately read your pet's temperature, helping to reduce stress during future consultations.

We recommend having your pet micro-chipped and this can be carried out at any stage.  In April 2016 the law will change and all dogs must be micro-chipped. Contact us today to arrange a suitable appointment.

Cat flaps and pet doors are available from the surgery which will respond only to your own micro-chipped pet or pets.
